When I was living in Silver City, I attended this Life Group whose leader's wife grew up as a Catholic. For a period of two weeks, meetings were changed to other members' houses. For the first week, the assistant leader run the meeting. The second week, the leader turned up.
The leader's wife hosted her sister who returned from UK. The visitor's daughter wanted to consult about her love life. The three women went for tarrot card reading. From what I heard, the medium used a pack of poker cards. She dealt out a hand with the co-operation of the seeker, in this case the niece, and proceeded to foretell the future. What was fore told was not disclosed.
As soon as the three women reached home, things began to happen! Objects fell down. Items flew into the air. It was almost like the movie Poltergeist! The entire house hold got no rest, whether it was day or night! It took the church's prayer team to go and cleanse the house.
Looking at incidences like that, it is easy to visualize the world as two sets or groupings. Group 1 belongs to Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Group 2 is under the control of Lucifer. As long as any body in Group 2 plays around with the occult, it is of no consequence. But the minute any one belonging to Group 1 touches the occult, there may be consequences that could be detrimental to the parties involved.
